The biggest national celebration of e-Sports had the special support of ESC Online, a Estoril Sol Group brand, licensed in casino games and sports betting. In addition to sponsoring television and onlince broadcasts at RTP Arena, ESC Online also played a prominent role in the event’s venue and was “naming sponsor” of the MVP Grand Prize awarded to the best player in the Final Four of the National CS: GO Championship, Renato ‘stadodo’ Gonçalves from the Offset e-Sports.
The first day of MOCHE XL Esports was crowned with the final four of the third season of the Worten Game Ring Master League Portugal, the culmination of seven days of competition between the best Portuguese teams from CS: GO. The Offset regained the national title they had won in the first season of the Master League thanks to a victory in the final game against the GTZ Bulls, who eliminated in the semi-finals the previous Vodafone Giants champions and achieved the best classification ever.
“People have always liked to play and nowadays it is no different: in the past, the recreation was playing “malha”, nowadays you play Counter Strike. ESC Online is not unaware of this transformation and for that reason we want to continue to lead the movement of linking the traditional game with new entertainment solutions. In fact, it is said that this will be the new Olympic sport, and we want to be at the forefront and be the first to offer bets on e-sports when this is possible in the regulated market in Portugal”, says Rui Magalhães, CEO of Estoril Sol Digital.
Through its strong presence at MOCHE XL Esports, ESC Online has again demonstrated that it is a pioneer in the national online gaming industry by supporting e-sports. This category already has hundreds of thousands of fans and millions of views on online platforms, and gathered more than 16 thousand people at Altice Arena during the two days of competition.
