ESC Online is the main sponsor of the Lusitânia Expedition

ESC Online, a brand of the Estoril Sol Group licensed in casino games and sports betting, is the main sponsor of the Lusitânia Expedition, an initiative promoted to mark the 100th anniversary of the first air crossing of the South Atlantic, calling Lisbon to Rio de Janeiro, performed by Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral.

Under the mentorship of Associação de David Melgueiro and Associação de Cruzeiros, the initiative aims to recreate the crossing, through Navy ships and Air Force planes, Tagus Navy vessels and other sailboats, to the city of Rio de Janeiro, and promote a broad reflection on climate change and environmental sustainability.

The highlight of the initiative will be the launch ceremony of the Lusitânia Expedition, which will be attended by the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, who will be responsible for firing the expedition. The ceremony will take place on the 3rd of April, next to the Belém Tower and the Lusitânia Hydroplane Monument.

The event will also be attended by Luis Vieira-Baptista, President of the David Melgueiro Association, António Bessa de Carvalho, President of the National Association of Cruises and António Vieira Coelho, Executive Director of Estoril Sol, among other personalities from the military, political, economic and civil society.
